About the role You will own the visual system: posters, banners, blog covers, illustrations and social posts that all look like they came from the same hand — because they follow a system, not a mood. Anyone can generate an image now. What we need is someone who understands the structure behind good design — grids, type scales, colour systems, components, hierarchy — and has the taste to know when a trend serves the brand and when it dates it. That is what makes the work reliable. What you will do Extend and maintain the brand guideline and the illustration kit — the house symbols our blog covers are composed from — with Figma libraries as the source of truth. Produce blog covers and in-article illustrations with the editorial team; posters, banners and collateral for the workshops; social templates the coordinator can fill without breaking them. Design social posts and short carousels, and review everything that goes out for consistency. Watch what is current — type, motion, layout — and propose what to adopt, with reasons. What we look for Required A portfolio that shows systems, not just pieces: a brand applied across formats, a template family, a component library. Typography and layout fundamentals you can explain; colour and contrast for both light and dark surfaces; export discipline — SVG, AVIF, the right sizes. Figma fluently; Illustrator or an equivalent for illustration. Useful Motion (After Effects, Rive or Lottie); hand-editing SVG; designing for Bangla and English side by side; photography. Not for Prompt-and-export. A generated image may be a starting point, never the deliverable. How we assess Apply with the form: your portfolio, the system behind one piece in about 200 words, and a portfolio PDF. About 20 minutes. A reply within five working days, yes or no, with a reason. One conversation of 45 minutes walking through the system behind two pieces. If we are unsure after it, a paid half-day brief — a poster and a social carousel in our brand — settles it.
